Freemasonry welcomes men of good character from all walks of life who hold a belief in a Supreme being, however that belief is understood within their own faith or tradition. Beyond that, there’s no test of religion or politics. It is about honest self-examination, brotherhood and service to the community, carried out through a tradition of ritual and symbolism that’s stood for centuries.
